Description
I find that often, especially at an after-school rehearsal, my performers come in dragging, and just need a little exercise to "jazz them up." The following list is comprised of several of my favorites:

Instructions
1. Students are given 20 seconds to "high five" everyone in the room - when they "high five" they must say "Yesssss!" as if they have achieved something amazing.
2. Students are put in a straight line in a group of 3, and must give ideas for a standard 3 point story (this is also a great improv exercise.) Person 1 gives "Who"...Person 2 gives "Where" ...and Person 3 gives the "What is happening." The goal is a complete scene in three minutes.
3. Students are paired up and number themselves "one" and "two." First number two becomes a lump of "clasy" and number one "sculpts" them into a statue. They are given 30 seconds. After the 30 seconds they "name" their statue. Then one and two swap and repeat the process. Kids love this! As an added twist, I sometimes pick three of my best sculptors, and give them a group to work with.
