Players

Minimum number of players: At least 5

Maximum number of players: No more than 20

Materials

A CD or Drum (something with a good beat).

Space Required

Standard Room

Instructions

1) All members of the class stand in a circle.
2) One person (to start) stands in the center (teacher usually, if its the first time the game is introduced).
3) Play a CD/drum (with a good beat).
4) Person in the center creates a movement to the beat (simple, easily replicated - keep to one movement, repeated).
5) All in circle copy movement.
6) Person who created movement continues movement while turning in the circle to make sure all are doing the movement. Then, while continuing the movement, moves to a person of his/her choice and "passes" the original movement off to that chosen person.
7) The "chosen person" takes the original movement and moves into the center of the circle whereupon they create a new movement.
8) Repeat until all those in the circle have had a chance to create their own movement.

Adaptations

Can add on to each movement as the game continues or change up the beat/song to make the group adapt.
