Performers have to think about and explain their characters by completing statements such as; If my character were an animal he/she would be a____________because__________. Use a variety of examples, such as: food, car, tool, piece of furniture, color, vacation spot, book, movie, sport/game, etc. This helps each performer get to know his/her own character and gives a variety of ways for characters to interact.
Adaptations
Start with easy connections, ie. animal. As performers get more comfortable with characters move to more complex, ie kitchen appliance
