Using a varied soundtrack, students improvise on a given start topic and adjust as the soundtrack changes
Materials
A CD or MP3 player with varied soundtracks or a Mac and Garage Band.
Full Lesson Plan
Students are split into groups, a single group chooses an improvisational prompt from our box (full of short improv promts). They have 1 minute to discuss how to start the exercize. Once they have begun, fade in a background track, students should be encouraged to act to the soundtrack. As the scene progresses, change sound cues at your leisure.
