Description
Students design costumes based on a general idea, concept or theme of your choice.
Materials
Lots of butcher paper or wrapping paper, markers, tape, scissors.
Full Lesson Plan
Divide the class into groups of 2-4. Give each group a bundle of supplies. Then give each group a type of costume to design (or they can choose their own depending on your style). Make them as fun as possible (flower, bride, etc.) The groups have 20 to 30 minutes to design a costume using one of the members as a model. Then, they have a runway show to show off each fashion design.
