Bio
I'm a choir/drama teacher at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School. We service 780 students, with 250 involved in the choir program. I'm also the owner and director of the Poudre Academy of Performing Arts; a business which organizes classes in theatre, musical theatre, dance, choral, and instrumental music through Poudre School District as after-school, extracurricular enrichment programs.

Interests
I'm a fond fan of the performing arts and kids, so becoming a music and drama teacher is the right job for me. In addition, starting a small business which focuses on the performing arts and education keeps me busy and happy. As a side skill, I volunteer as an EMT with our local ambulance service and continue to act, sing, and play french horn & piano semi-professionally. However, none of those hobbies/activities hold a candle to my favorite activity, being 'Dad' to my 2-year-old son, Joey.

I'm a Coloradoan thru-and-thru :-) My family has been in Colorado for 6 generations.

Upcoming Projects
Poudre Academy of Perform Arts (PAPA) will be creating in the upcoming few school years:
- 3 Musical Theatre Audition classes for 6th - 12 graders
- A tri-middle school musical theatre production in April, 2011
- A new community men's choir in February, 2011
- A city-wide Theatre Festival for secondary students in Feb, 2011
- A Break Dancing & Hip Hop club for elementary and middle school kids in Sept, 2010
- A Quad-High musical production in summer, 2012
