I enjoy original theatre. I act as the executive director of my wife's Cambodian dance group. Charya Burt - charyaburt.com. Teaching playwrighting and producing original works is my passion.

I am a converted social science/English teacher with BAs in Sociology and Psychology. My formal theatre training has come from summer classes and workshops.

I produced a series of original plays about social justice in Cambodia right before their first democratic elections in 1992
Accomplishments
Building a full-time theatre program from scratch. Building a strong playwrighting program. Receiving a Presidential Scholar Teacher awars last year.
Upcoming Projects
To raise funds to take my students to perform at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe Festival - on an invitation - where we will perform all student original work.
