PROFILE: PHOENIX

I am the catalyst for Grand Lake Theatrix Community Theatre Association - a small non-profit organization that I think of as a teaching theatre. I direct a KidZ Drama Klub (KDK) that works with students ages 5-18 to prepare them for Colleges or Universities that can prepare them for careers in theatre including Broadway. I was born in Lima, Ohio - now made legendary by the success of Phyllis Diller and Hugh Downs, and of course GLEE! I am a writer published in regional newspapers and magazines, and a local television and radio personality.  I am going to continue working with any child that may be looking for a creative outlet, but cannot afford it, or who's parents don't understand the need for stage and not the court or field. I am also going to secure a grant large enough to ensure, the theatre will continue long after I can't.
