Although I have been very involved in theatre since the late 80s, back in England, I came to the States in 1995 to pursue my work as a software consultant. Here it was less demanding to turn my hand to playwriting and I was instrumental in forming New Voices Playwrights Workshop in Southern California 12 years ago. The lure of the spotlights, however, still tugs at me! When I took early retirment from the world of computers I became a substitute teacher so I could support my wife, Autumn Browne, in her full time drama program in a nearby Junior High school. I now work actively across the school district helping to bring the performing arts into greater prominence. I have written and produced several prize-winning screen plays in which Autumn's students performed.
