Interests

Musical theatre is my passion - but after a car accident in 1977 (couldn't work for 3 years) - I discovered I could sew costumes and enjoyed making all kinds of costumes. I am a mum and love my son who is now 33 and has toured everywhere with us.

Something you should know about me!

We have a thriving Musical Theatre Stream at our Performing Arts College. We visit NY every couple of years for workshops, masterclasses and shows. We are coming back over in our Christmas holidays 2011 and I got excited when I saw that you have workshops - there would be about 20 College students.

Accomplishments

After a wonderful career for all these years, I'm blessed to be handed this wonderful adjunct to my life. The students are excited to turn up to class each day and are genuinely enthusiastic with everything we do.

Upcoming Projects

This year has just begun in Australia - we have Open Day at our College where we need to perform early March, then "Words and Music" a student Showcase March 31 / April 1. We're desperately looking for a musical to do in September ("13" was such a hit), which will take the rest of the year, together with a few corporates. We are an academic College and our Performing Arts incorporates 2 hours of every day.
