Diane has been involved in theatre for over 30 years. She has been on stage, behind the scenes and tackled every production job in the theatre. She began her career in high school and continues to share her passion and love of theatre with her high school theatre students. Diane is currently the theatre teacher and director for Susan Wagner High School Performing Arts program. She teaches a full screened theatre program of aspiring performers who have gone on to garner full scholarships in college. She has directed shows that range from original 50 minute musicals, dramatic classics such as Streetcar Named Desire to Annie, Grease, Les Miserables and Sweeney Todd at the high school level. She founded and ran a community theatre company for years as well as performed in many local productions. When not directing, teaching or doing local theatre, Diane enjoys working in independent films. She has three grown children who have all done theatre with her at various times as well as her husband. Diane likes to share with other teachers and professionals best practices and ideas about how to keep improving in her craft.
