I have been around the theatre for 14 years and have done everything such as acting, stage managing, lighting tech, set building, actor coaching, teaching, directing, choreographing and playwrighing. I have recently started teaching an introductory theatre calss at Castaic Middle School and am working towards starting up a theatre department within the school. I have joined up with the band/choir teacher and assisted last year with the Spring musical Little Shop of Horrors. This past school year I had the change to direct and choregraph my first production: Beauty and the Beasty Jr. The theatre program is slowly growing at the school. I will be expanding to two theatre classes next school year and I will be starting up a drama club. One day I hope to become a full time theatre teacher, but until then I am teaching English as well a theatre.


Educational Background

I graduated from Cal State University of Northridge with a Bachelor's degree in English. I went on to receive my secondary teaching credential at the same school. Though I didn't get a degree in theatre I've taken many classes and plan on finishing my degree in the near future.
