Bio
I'm a Technical Director and Technical Theatre Teacher working with students in grades 7-12 at an independent Jewish day school in Los Angeles, CA. I grew up in Simsbury, CT before getting my BFA in Theatre Design from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts (Design Department). First and foremost trained as a lighting designer, I also have had plenty of hands-on experience in set construction, sound design & implementation, multimedia & A/V, and project planning. I have found the most joy working with students and overseeing backstage work in my position as a TD and teaching Tech Theatre!

In "Wicked" on Broadway, Taye Diggs (playing Fiyero) throws the broomstick to Idina Menzel (playing Elphaba, OBVIOUSLY) while rescuing her from the trap set for her. He throws the broom too far, and Idina misses. The audience begins to snicker. Idina starts to drop character and giggle. The audience laughs more. Taye and Idina both start to loose it. EVERONE is cracking up together, until Taye Diggs says, "Take two!" CLASSIC!!!
